Central Market : Camel Souk
The camels are in the Central Market behind Bawadi Mall (can walk there-some security guards inside the mall might know the directions to get there). It's bascically an animal trading market (possibly for meat) so if you are an animal lover, it might be a bit disturbing. After passing through somewhat crammed stalls where they keep goats and sheep, follow the scent to the camel stalls. Obviously, it's not the best smelling place, but you do get to see lots of camels up close. The stall-keepers are very friendly, perhaps even a bit overly touchy-feely. Maybe they're just excited to see female humans. They will offer to take pictures of you with the camels as well as show you pregnant camels and baby camels. In my opinion, perhaps it's better to find other opportunities to see camels in a different setting.
