Aquarium's tunnel was short — more impressive from the outside (free). I was a bit disappointed since the aquarium's tunnel was quite short. If you've never seen/been to an underwater tunnel before, I suppose maybe it's worth the 25 dirhams, but to be honest, I thought it was more impressive looking at the tank from the outside (mall) which was free. It was packed with loud tourists when I was there so it was not a tranquilizing experience.
The underwater zoo upstairs was better, but also packed with loud tourists tapping on the glass and taking flash photography (not allowed but there was no stopping such annoying behavior). Being in that environment was giving me a headache (opposite of what an aquarium should do), but the underwater zoo itself is not too bad (another 25 aed to get in). I personally enjoyed the Lost Chambers at Atlantis the Palm better even though it was twice as expensive to get in (100 aed) and seem to have less fish.
